A longtime member of Trinity who is now with the Lord once said, "You can't out give God." His words, spoken many years ago, still ring true. Our God is the ultimate giver. He gives us all that we need for our body and life and more importantly, gives us his Son Jesus as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our comforter and guide.
In joyful response to our Lord, Christians return part of what is He has given to us for work in His Church. This "regular" giving supports the work of the congregation, the Missouri District, and the Synod at large. This giving keep the lights on, supports our workers, and supports local mission and ministry as well as missions and ministries all around the world.
Most of our members use offering envelopes so that they can receive a receipt at the end of the year for their giving. If you need offering envelopes, have questions about your giving, or have questions about the congregation's work, please contact the church office.
Offering is collected each week in school chapel services. The school supports several groups throughout the year through offerings. Last year, we sent our offering to the Synodical School Scholarship Fund, Calvary Lutheran High School, and missionaries serving in other parts of the world. We also collected food for the Samaritan Center and socks for HALO.
My E Offering
Trinity has partnered with myEoffering in order to provide you with the convenience of online contribution. Online contribution refers to a process much like online bill pay, whereby donors opt to have their financial contributions to the church withdrawn directly from their credit, debit, checking, or savings account in lieu of bringing cash or paper checks each Sunday.
MyEoffering has designed a secure, web-based platform in which donors may privately and prayerfully make one-time or recurring donations. Prayerful consideration of giving to God first enables you to witness a powerful sense of stewardship. You can customize a completely individual method of giving, based on how and when you receive your income. By setting up recurring donations to be automatically debited from your account, it allows the church to better plan budgets and expenditures and provides a more accurate financial forecast. It also enables you to stay on the path of your contribution goals by ensuring that even if you are unable to attend church on a particular Sunday, you needn’t worry about remembering to make that contribution the following week. With more consistent stewardship, our church is able to focus more on the ministry of God.
Signing up is as simple as going to any page on our church website (www.trinityjc.org) and clicking on the “Give Now” button at the bottom of the page. You’ll register an account and within minutes you will be giving your first online donation.
For more information about recurrent giving, please contact the church office.
