**Update (5/28/2019): Trinity will be hosting work days on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 8 am to 5 pm. Volunteers must wear work clothes (pants, boots, and gloves if available) and have an up-to-date tetanus shot. Meals will be provided. We are asking for the following donations to ensure that these work days are successful: rakes, tarps, respirator masks, shovels, and sunscreen. Please contact the church office (573-636-6750) or Caleb Fischer (573-544-0938) with questions.**
We have been in contact with representatives from the Missouri District’s disaster response. We will begin accepting donations of bottled water, Gatorade, and cash/gift cards immediately. There will be a special offering in the back of the church this weekend and a place for physical donations in the church lobby.
We will also be hosting volunteers from the Missouri District to serve in the community in our facilities beginning Thursday, May 30 at 5 p.m. (beginning work the next morning at 8 a.m.) through Sunday, June 2 at noon. Trinity members are encouraged to join in these work days. We are also looking for volunteers to cook meals for participants. Keep an eye out for more information as we move closer to these events. Coordinator for Trinity’s disaster relief efforts is Caleb Fischer (573-544-0938 or email@example.com).
