Fellowship Opportunities

MEN’S CLUB — 2nd Tuesday of each month (various locations)                                                                              

The purpose of the Men’s Club is to encourage and help strengthen the Christian Faith and support the International Lutheran Laymen’s League. The Men’s Club supports the functions and activities of Trinity Lutheran Church and School, and provides financial assistance and participation in the International Lutheran Laymen’s League, also known as the Lutheran Hour Ministries. The Men’s Club meets once a month to enjoy fellowship, plan future work activities and to share God’s Word. The Men’s Club has at least one annual BBQ in the spring of each
year as its annual fundraiser. The Men’s Club provides assistance and financial support to Calvary Lutheran High School; church property improvements; youth activities; the annual Trinity Church Dinner; and maintains the

MISSIONARY SOCIETY — 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall — 2nd Tuesday of each month (no meetings June, July, or August)  

Missionary Society is part of the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League).  Meetings begin with a devotion and include a brief business meeting followed by a guest speaker or a Bible study (and dessert!).  Our mission is to support those in need locally, nationally, and internationally through prayer, volunteerism, and financial support.  We invite you to join as a guest, and we would love to have you as a member!   Contact:  Danielle Rakow rakowedtk@gmail.com

WOMEN’S AUXILIARY — 1:30pm in the Fellowship Hall — 2nd Tuesday of each month                                       

Trinity Lutheran Women's Auxiliary was organized in 1888 for the purpose of Christian growth, service, and fellowship. We financially support various church organizations, and community organizations such as the Foster Care and Adoption Association that is housed in our old parsonage. We collect box tops, provide baptismal candles and gifts for confirmands, and help coordinate funeral luncheons.   Contact:  Deborah Schulenberg dcesposito@yahoo.com

EVENING GUILD — 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall — 1st Monday of each month       

Evening Guild is a Christian fellowship group of ladies who do systematic church and charity work.  Their projects include three major annual fundraisers, providing much needed services for the congregation, and financially supporting various church and community organizations.  Contact: www.facebook.com/TrinityEveningGuild/

LIFELINE EXERCISE GROUP — 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall — Tuesdays & Thursdays                                             

If you’re looking for convenient fitness options, the YMCA offers a strength and balance class at Trinity. Join Charlene for a low-impact 45 minute workout that will improve your health and fitness in a safe environment. Plus, if your insurance carries the Silver Sneakers benefit, or if you are a YMCA member, the class is free! If not, it is only $20/month. LUTHERAN BLIND MISSION LEAGUE - 11:30am — 2nd Saturday of each month                                                      

Trinity has an outreach center that provides a once a month meal including fellowship activities along with devotions.  Activities may include activities with speakers, field trips along with games such as bingo or just good fellowship.  More volunteers are needed to continue support of this outreach center: transportation, supplying a meal, helping serve a meal, helping with coordination of monthly activities, donating funds, knowing  blind or a visually disabled person or would like to meet new friends, help with a bible study, go on a field trip, share a life experience or job that provides information.  Contact: Del Ehrdardt  573-353-2997

SOCIAL GAME NIGHT - 7:15pm in the Fellowship Hall (after 6pm church services) — 1st Saturday of each month

Open to everyone in the congregation or community who would like to have some fun, fellowship and meet new people in a Christian setting.  We are a mixed group of adults (single, dating, newly married, married for a long time, single parents, widowed and divorced).  We are all ages, but prefer to keep this event kid free but If there is a need (please contact Carmy) we can arrange for childcare by the church youth group for a donation to their ministry.  Please bring your favorite board game, Card game, puzzle or crafts.  You may bring a snack but is not required.  Contact:  Carmy Heerboth

SINGLES GAME NIGHT — 7:00PM in the Fellowship Hall — 3rd Friday of each month                                            

Open to anyone in the church or community aged 18 and up who is single.  Please join us for Fun, Games, Fellowship and snacks. Please bring your favorite board game, card game or puzzle.  You may bring a snack to share if you like but it is not required.  Contact:  Carmy Heerboth
